Lawcomm Solicitors is an established full-service law firm with more than two decades of experience delivering legal services to individuals and businesses. Founded in 1999 by Managing Director and Head of Litigation Bill Dhariwal, the firm has grown steadily into a multi-disciplinary practice with a team of over 40 legal professionals and support staff.
Known for its client-focused approach, Lawcomm provides expert legal services across real estate, private client, and commercial law. The firm is also committed to developing future legal talent through its graduate programme, helping to train and support the next generation of legal professionals.
Lawcomm’s Challenge
As Lawcomm Solicitors continued to grow, the firm needed a modern practice management platform that could support its expanding operations and provide greater flexibility than its existing system. The firm was looking for technology that could streamline workflows, improve visibility across departments, and adapt to the way its teams worked.
As a full-service law firm, Lawcomm required a solution capable of supporting multiple practice areas, including real estate, private client, litigation, and commercial law. Solution
To ensure a smooth transition from its previous practice management system, Lawcomm worked closely with Hoowla to migrate matter, client, and operational data from Osprey into the new platform. The implementation was carefully planned to minimise disruption and allow the firm to continue delivering excellent service throughout the transition.
Working collaboratively with Lawcomm’s internal project team, Hoowla configured the system to reflect the firm’s existing workflows, document templates, and practice area requirements. Comprehensive training and onboarding ensured staff could quickly adopt the new platform while maintaining productivity.
Today, Lawcomm uses Hoowla across multiple departments, providing a single platform for practice management, workflow automation, document generation, reporting, and client management. To support its growing real estate practice, the firm also implemented Hoowla’s online quoting tools, enabling prospective clients to obtain accurate estimates online while creating a more efficient enquiry and onboarding process.
